Banana bread energy bars
Preparation time: 10 minutes Serving: 12 persons
Ingredients
Small-sized banana: One
Fresh or soaked dried dates: ¾ cup
Puffed millet: ½ cup
Walnuts: ½ cup
Grounded sesame seeds: ¼ cup
Cinnamon: 2 teaspoons
Nutmeg: ½ teaspoon
Sea salt: to taste or a pinch
Preparation
Take a food processor to combine all things well. If you don’t have a food processor, then it’s better to get one because, without it, you won’t be able to combine all the ingredients.
Add banana, dates, puffed millet, walnuts, grounded sesame seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Turn on the processor, and combine everything well, and make a smooth texture that is thick enough to shape into any desired shape.
After that, put the mixture on a clean surface, and get a spoon to scoop it on your hand for making the desired shape. If you want to make a round shape like a ball, roll the mixture between your palms to form a ball. Another way is to shape the dough into bars. For this, flatten the mixture on any surface or place a plastic wrap over it and roll it to the desired thickness. Then, cut that mixture into bars.
The last step is to enjoy the bars after storing them to the refrigerator for some time.
Banana bread energy bars are never so yummy before this recipe. Try it to tease your taste buds.
